【摘要】:Withinthesetofcharactersetstandardstherearetwogenericcodestructures,thatdefinedbyISO/TEC2022for7and8bittransportmechanismsandthatdefinedbythenewISO10646foramulti-octettransportmechanism.ThispartofISO/IECISP12070isconcernedwiththeISO/IEC2022codestructure.ThispartofISO/IECISP12070isapplicableinthefollowingcases:a)theuseofASN.1typeGeneralStringb)theuseofASN.1typeGraphicStringc)theuseofASN.1typeTeletexStringd)theuseofnon-ASN.lcharacterstrings(e.g.whenacharacterstringisembeddedintheASN.lOCTETSTRINGasinODA)InmanyinstancestherequirementsofthispartofISO/IECISP12070applytoallofthesecasesbutwheretherearespecificrequirementsapplyingtoparticularcases,thesearehighlightedseparately.ThispartofISO/ECISP12070laysdownrequirementssothataconsistentapproachmaybetakenwhenspecifyingtheuseofcodedcharactersetsinfunctionalstandards.Somespecificationsrelateto"pass-through"services(e.g.MHSandDirectory).SuchservicesareoutsidethescopeofthispartofISO/IECISP12070.RequirementsfortheuseofcharactersetsinTelematicservices(egTeletexandVideotex)areoutsidethescopeofthispartofISO/IECISP12070.TherequirementsspecifiedinpartofISO/ECISP12070specificallyapplytoWesternEuropebutmaybeapplicableinotherregionsoftheworld.
