【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheminimumrequirementsfor,andmethodsof,applicationofgypsumveneerbaseforgypsumveneerplasters.1.2Gypsumveneerbaseshallnotbeusedasabasefordirectadhesiveapplicationofceramic,metal,orplastictileinareasexposedtoabnormalmoistureorhumidityortemperature.1.3Detailsofconstructionforaspecificassemblytoachievetherequiredfireresistanceshallbeobtainedfromreportsoffire-resistancetests,engineeringevaluations,orlistingsfromrecognizedfiretestinglaboratories.1.4Whereaspecificdegreeofsoundcontrolisrequiredforveneerplasterassembliesandconstructions,detailsofconstructionshallbeinaccordancewithofficialreportsoftestsconductedinrecognizedsoundtestinglaboratoriesinaccordancewiththeapplicablesoundtests,TestMethodC423,TestMethodE90,orTestMethodE492.1.5Wherethisspecificationismorestringent(sizeorthicknessofframing;spacingoffasteners)thanthefire-ratedconstruction,thisspecificationshallgovern;otherwise,theconstructiondescribedinthefiretestreportshallgovern.1.6Unheatedspacesabovegypsumveneerbaseceilingsshallbeproperlyventilated(seeAppendixX3).1.7Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSI(metric)valuesgiveninparenthesesareapproximateandareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.8Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.
