【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationappliestosulfurhexafluorideforuseasanelectricalinsulatinggas.Note18212;Thisspecificationisintendedtoapplyonlytogasaspurchased.However,thetestmethodsreferredtointhisstandardmaybeusefulintheevaluationofin-serviceorusedgas.TestMethodD2284maybeparticularlyhelpfulsincemanysulfurhexafluoridedecompositionproductsareacidic.TestMethodD2284shouldnotbeusedtoevaluatethetotalamountofsulfurhexafluoridedecompositionnortoidentifycontaminantspecies.Thiscanonlybedonebygaschromatographyandsimilarinstrumentaltechniques.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
