【摘要】:Oxidationinductiontime,asdeterminedundertheconditionsofthistestmethod,maybeusedasanindicationofoxidationstability.2Thistestmethodisfasterthanotheroiloxidationtestsandrequiresaverysmallamountofsample.Itmaybeusedforresearchanddevelopment,qualitycontrol,andspecificationpurposes.However,nocorrelationhasbeenestablishedbetweentheresultsofthistestmethodandserviceperformance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofoxidationinductiontimeoflubricatingoilssubjectedtooxygenat3.5MPa(500psig)andtemperaturesbetween130and210176;C.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
